The Quality Assurance & Tariff Change Specialist is responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, and reliability of software products through User Acceptance Testing (UAT), system validation, exception management, and stakeholder collaboration.

The role also manages the end-to-end Tariff Change Request (TCR) process, ensuring tariff changes are accurately implemented, tested, approved, and deployed in line with business requirements and internal governance standards.

Through effective testing, monitoring, reporting, validation, and coordination activities, the role contributes to successful project delivery, operational stability, service quality, and the seamless operation of GO's products and services.

  • O’level standard of education is required.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Maltese and English.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience within GO plc or a similar operational environment.
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience using Cerillion functionality and related operational processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Understanding of software testing methodologies and quality assurance practices.
  • Ability to analyse business requirements and validate system functionality.

  • Familiarity with GO internal systems and tools, including Salesforce, LiteVU, MyGO, and related platforms.

If this describes you, then this is a glimpse of what you'll be doing:

  • Prepare, execute, and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities for projects, system enhancements, releases, and fixes.
  • Analyse business and functional requirements to create and execute effective test scenarios and validation activities.
  • Document, track, and communicate defects, testing progress, risks, and outcomes to relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Business, Development, Billing, Configuration, Project and other teams to support successful project delivery and issue resolution.
  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of Tariff Change Requests (TCRs), including review, validation, implementation coordination, testing, and deployment.
  • Validate tariff implementations across Cerillion and other internal systems to ensure alignment with approved business requirements.
  • Provide formal sign-off of tariff changes and testing activities prior to production deployment.
  • Maintain and monitor daily exception reports, testing documentation, and audit-ready records, ensuring issues, anomalies, risks, and implementation outcomes are identified, investigated, tracked, communicated, and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to testing methodologies, quality assurance practices, and operational processes.
  • Escalate and coordinate the resolution of production issues, risks, exceptions, and high-priority incidents to minimize operational impact and prevent recurrence.
