As a Senior Credit Control Officer your job will be to assist in the management of the daily operations of the Credit Control function of the Group. 

To ensure timely collection of all receivables and minimal bad debts and carry out any ad-hoc assignments as may be requested from time-to-time by his/her immediate superior.

It would be essential for you to have:

  • ‘O’ Level standard of education or equivalent. 
  • Minimum 1 year Experience in a customer-facing environment. 
  • Fluency in both Maltese and English. 
  • Highly proficient in Cerillion, LiteVU and Salesforce.

  • An adequate understanding of the legal process relevant to the collection of debts.

If this describes you, then this is a glimpse of what you'll be required to do;

  • Assisting the Team Leader to ensure implementation of credit control policies, including control mechanisms, billing and collections policies and debt write off and provision policies, throughout the GO group. 
  • Participating in the development of the necessary infrastructure to ensure that the Group has an effective Credit Control section; 
  • Monitoring the collection of debtors including those against which the company has made a provision, and ensure that debtors throughout the group are kept at a minimum; 
  • Liaison with Commercial through regular meetings; 
  • Liaison with lawyers and whenever required participate in the company’s representation in local courts; 
  • Liaison with cash collection agencies as and when necessary; 
  • Any other responsibility and duties that may become necessary to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the credit control section.
