At GO we believe in driving a digital Malta and obsessing about our customers. We are now looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Voice Core Network Engineer to join our Voice Core team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation and support of our Mobile and Fixed Voice networks, playing a key role in delivering reliable and cutting-edge services to our customers.

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or Technical IT field.
• Ability to work well within a team environment.
• Have a positive attitude and can-do approach.
• Fluency in English both written and verbal.

• SIP Protocol and Networking knowledge

If this describes you, here’s a glimpse of what you will be doing in this position:

• Gain hands-on exposure to the operation of Voice Core platforms, including HLR, HSS, MSS and IMS.
• Support day-to-day monitoring of network performance and key KPIs.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolution of network issues under guidance.
• Participate in core network projects such as upgrades and new service launches.
• Help with the installation, configuration and testing of core network elements.
• Work closely with experienced engineers, internal teams and vendors to ensure service reliability.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and contribute to knowledge sharing.
• Participate in on-call or out-of-hours support as part of a structured rota and mentoring setup.
• This role offers structured mentoring and on-the-job training within a live telecom network environment.
