Join our Digital Team as a DevOps Specialist, where you get to play a key role in managing software release and operational activities, using industry best practices for release, configuration and implementation management.

Does this sound like you? Here’s what you need to have to match our requirements:

• 2+ years of relevant experience in DevOps, System Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering or other related field, across industries such as Telecommunications, iGaming, Financial Services, Banking or other DevOps dependent industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science / Networking / ICT / AI or an equivalent level of technical background gathered from other certifications and/or working experience.
• Knowledge of applications and tools across the various DevOps domains such as but not limited to, GIT, Ansible, Maven, Jenkins, Cucumber, Docker, SonarQube, Nexus, Rundeck, Traefik Proxy and HashiCorp Stack (Nomad, Consul, Vault, Terraform).
• Knowledge of deploying and using container/workload orchestration solutions, such as Docker, Docker Swarm or Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of application load balancer and service discovery technologies, such as NGINX, Traefik and Consul.

Here’s how you can hit a few plus points for this position

• Experience working on and administering different OS platforms, including variants of Windows and Linux.
• Good scripting skills in programming languages prevalent in the industry such as Bash and Python.
• Working knowledge of DBMS platforms and SQL, such as PostgreSQL.
• Experience related to release management, configuration management, and change management.
• Familiarity with the entire software development life cycle and Agile processes.
• Familiarity with AI tooling and solutions prevalent in the industry.
• Ability to work well independently and with others.
• High level of self-motivation, self-organization, orientation to detail, ability to prioritize many tasks and commitment to the highest standards of quality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The chosen candidate will be expected to:

• Interact with product management, project management, development and operations teams to plan, validate and execute software releases and system rollouts.
• Maintain and improve best-in-class container/workload orchestration solutions, load balancing solutions, and related technologies.
• Maintain and improve upon software release processes, ensuring that the team is using industry-accepted best practices and tools.
• Work closely with development teams and other operational teams to help select tools, design infrastructure, implement automation, and facilitate the software build/release process.
• Continuously strive to introduce automation and AI enabled solutions and improve existing tooling to simplify operations.
• Keep oneself up to date on prevailing DevOps and AI practices and tools.
• Maintain and report upon suitable KPIs.
• Support the Software Delivery, QA, Test Automation, Infrastructure, Information Security and Database Operations teams as required in meeting set objectives and strive for continuous improvement in all areas of activity.
