We’re on the look-out for a go-getter Telesales and Online Sales Manager to join our Consumer Sales team within our Commercial department. 

As our Telesales and Online Sales Manager, you will lead the Telesales Team to achieve sales targets, encourage cross-selling and up-selling whilst offering the best customer experience by keeping our promise of doing better every day. 

Our Consumer Sales Team values a customer-centric approach and ensures, more than anything else, to provide support to our customers in the best way possible. Having a calm, friendly approach and a team-player attitude is very important for us and will help you succeed in this role.

  • At least five years of experience working in a retail, sales or customer care environment;
  • Proven experience working with targets;
  • Being a great team player and have experience in working within a team;
  • Being enthusiastic, flexible, committed and hard working with a positive, can-do attitude. 

Here’s how you can hit a few plus points for this position:

  • Have an Advanced level of education;
  • Experience in a leadership role, including team management and coaching;
  • Have a very good knowledge of GO’s systems mainly SalesForce, Vocalcom and Cerillion. 

If this describes you, then this is a glimpse of what you'll be doing:

  • Lead, manage, and motivate the telesales and online sales teams to achieve revenue, sales, and service-level targets. 
  • Supervise, mentor, and coordinate staff, ensuring employees are well-trained, motivated, and supported in delivering consistent performance. 
  • Develop and implement staff training, coaching, and development initiatives to improve product knowledge, service quality, and efficiency. 
  • Analyse sales figures, performance metrics, and KPIs for both teams and individuals, preparing standard and ad-hoc reports for management. 
  • Identify and implement sales improvement initiatives, change management programmes, and process enhancements in collaboration with senior management. 
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including monitoring campaigns and ensuring resources are allocated effectively. 
  • Ensure all customer queries, complaints, and escalations are resolved in line with company service standards, delivering exceptional customer experience. 
  • Manage staffing activities such as recruitment, appraisals, performance reviews, and scheduling. 
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, confidentiality requirements, and service-level agreements. 
  • Monitor and control operational processes, ensuring timely processing of applications, courier processes, and other service requirements.
